WHAT YOU'LL DO The Director, Delivery is responsible for overseeing and leading teams to deliver project(s) for clients, managing schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Director identifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverables and serves as the point of escalation for project-related activities. The Director may be expected to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously and lead the enterprise systems and integrations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsible for overseeing and leading teams to deliver project(s) for clientsResponsible for meeting specific revenue targets within the Services organizationOversee the day-to-day project activities and deliverables, including managing schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project deliveryMakes personnel and staffing decisions on behalf of the practiceAssumes people management responsibilities including, but not limited to, the management of direct reports, writing and conducting annual performance reviews, managing underperformance, and serving as a hiring managerIdentifies and develops trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholdersIdentifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverablesServes as the point of escalation for project-related activities and for the CustomerReports to Services leadership on project results, metrics, test and deployment management activitiesManages project scope and changesManages the engagement contract and Statement of WorkSets and continually manages project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholdersDevelops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholdersContributes IP back to Delivery practiceMentors project team membersMay work across multiple complex projects simultaneouslyPerform other related duties and activities as requiredWHAT YOU'VE DONE QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusMinimum of 12 years' professional experience implementing P&C insurance software applicationsExperience managing the performance of othersExperience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budgetExperience leading, motivating and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performanceSpecialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Demonstrated experience managing a clientDemonstrated experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExcellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation), and interpersonal skillsSuperior skills in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookExceptional organizational skillsTeam-building skills with technical and non-technical staffFlexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesOther Requirements:
