The Datascape Directorwill oversee a team of 200 software and local government professionals,driving growth in customer base and revenue in alignment with long-termplans. This role encompasses product management and development,professional services, customer success, sales, and support.The company boasts a robust foundation, including market traction, strongcustomer advocacy, and well-established business systems and processes.This presents a unique opportunity for a candidate with SaaS expertise andan entrepreneurial mindset to steer the business towards to $50 million andbeyond. The right candidate will have the opportunity to support thedevelopment and expansion of Datascape in the ANZ market with unlimitedpotential.What you'll bringBroad and deep understanding of software products, platform andsoftware technology, software development, and operations.Demonstrated success in strategy development and implementation andmeeting objectives around growth in revenue and returnsStrength in financial management, with a clear understanding of therelationship between capital invested and future cash flows both fromrecurring software fees and project services. And ability to form andmanage multi-year budgets.Ability to form productive relationships and influence key prospectsand customersExperience in the use of research and data to inform product planningand the prioritisation of developmentExperience driving customer acquisition through GTM strategy spanningproduct, marketing and salesProven track record of achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profitobjectives.Experience scaling a product business beyond $50M annual revenueAn appreciation of the power of ecosystems and experience establishingor participating in an ecosystem or network of partnerships15+ years of General Management / Operational managementexperience.Experience in executive leadership and managing and mentoring peopleand teams.Strong general business acumen.Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situationor data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including anunderstanding of business trends.ResponsibilitiesLeading the development and execution of strategyBuilding a culture of excellence and learning that supports our peopleas they build rewarding careers at DatacomBuilding long lasting, robust customer relationships and ensures thatcustomer relationships are carefully managed throughout all aspects ofservice delivery across the organisation.Developing sales and marketing strategies to meet agreed performancetargets within budget and timelines.Developing customer success and retention strategiesChampioning product modernisation and evolution roadmaps that alignwith Datacom Group strategy while meeting current and future customerrequirements.Advocating for evolving ways of working and cross functionalcollaboration with teams to implement changeManaging the relationships with (and between) external agencies andsuppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in linewith strategic aims and financial constraints and ongoing service isin-line with agreed contracts.Maintaining awareness and knowledge of market/industry development andproviding suitable interpretation to leaders and teams within theorganisation.Culture and BenefitsDatacom is one of the largest suppliers of Information Technologyprofessional services in New Zealand and Australia.
