About the Role
This is a fixed term SES 1 role
The Director of Data & Digital Strategic Alignment branch is instrumental in shaping and driving tangible efficiencies in Data & Digital functions. Key focus of this role is to assess current state and future needs of cloud, platforms, integration, internal resources capability, and operating model, in alignment with the departmental vision and objectives. This pivotal leadership involves close collaboration with Data & Digital executives to formulate cohesive plans to deliver strategic solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the department.
Position Outcomes
As Director of Data & Digital Strategic Alignment, you enhanced the operational model by collaborating with senior executives to ensure Data & Digital capabilities meet the department's evolving needs. You initiated process, resource, and technology optimizations within the Data & Digital environment, achieving efficiencies across cloud, platforms, and integration, all aligned with departmental goals.
Your leadership fostered collaboration with Data & Digital executives, developing communication channels to update on progress and challenges, and aligning Data & Digital capabilities with departmental objectives. You also managed risk, identifying and mitigating potential challenges in the Data & Digital operating model.
You provided strategic leadership, aligning Data & Digital goals with department objectives, and offered thought leadership on emerging trends and innovative solutions to support business goals. Your authoritative advice supported transport portfolio objectives, addressing complex issues. You engaged stakeholders, forging collaborative partnerships to leverage data assets effectively.
