About Us The ACT Cyber Security Centre, within the Digital Data and Technology Solutions Group, is dedicated to safeguarding the ACT Government's digital infrastructure and services.

The Role As a Director of Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cyber security posture and safeguarding our digital assets.
You will assist with leading the development and implementation of robust cyber security strategies and frameworks, ensuring they align with the ACT Government's objectives.
Your ability to work closely with business clients, internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders will be critical as you manage and mitigate cyber risks across the ACT Government.
A significant part of your role will involve conducting thorough security risk assessments to ensure the safety and integrity of ICT systems and infrastructure.
You will be a trusted advisor, providing expert strategic advice on cyber security matters to senior leaders, including the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
In this role, you will also represent the ACT Cyber Security Centre at high-level meetings, committees, and seminars, where you will advocate for best practices in cyber security.
Furthermore, you will mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a skilled and motivated team committed to protecting our digital environment.
Your leadership and expertise will be essential in driving forward the cyber security agenda and ensuring that the ACT Government remains resilient against cyber threats.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
A current ACT Government CMTEDD issued Personnel Vetting Program certificate (Baseline clearance equivalent) is required, or you must have the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Relevant qualifications or substantial experience in ICT Security, Risk Management, Auditing, Governance, or Project Management are highly regarded.
