As the Director of Corporate, you will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality corporate support and ensure operational excellence for the Council and the community. You will oversee critical areas such as finance, procurement and contracts, information technology, integrated planning and reporting, governance, and records management.
The ideal candidate will provide high-level strategic advice to the General Manager, Council, management, staff, customers, and stakeholders. You will develop and implement the department's strategic, delivery, and operational plans while ensuring consistent monitoring and reporting on progress to achieve meaningful community outcomes.
Candidates should possess extensive experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, have sound knowledge of finance, procurement, contracts, information technology, governance, and records management and have demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives.
You should have exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, public administration, or a related field are also required.
