Director Contracts and Procurement, Finance and Business Services Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service – Nambour QLD
An exciting opportunity exists for a Director Contracts and Procurement for a key leadership role accountable for the delivery and governance of strategic contract, procurement and contestability function for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). This includes leading strategic, commercial negotiations and providing advice to SCHHS management to ensure the support of effective and efficient HHS operational and business services.
In this position, you will have the opportunity and responsibility as a senior leader within the SCHHS to influence and contribute to the broad strategic agenda of the organisation participating in and contributing to HHS Strategic Committees relevant to area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide strategic advice to the Health Service Chief Executive, Chief Finance Officer and other SCHHS senior leaders with respect to risks, opportunities and the impact of all significant contractual and partnership arrangements and contracts with external providers. Work effectively and collaboratively with other senior leaders to provide proactive, strategic leadership within a dynamic organisational environment. Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour. Provide expert advice and direction to the Executive of the SCHHS, in the development of the clinical and non-clinical forward procurement schedule, highlighting possible alignment with Department of Health (DoH) System Procurement, realising benefits for the SCHHS. Remuneration value up to $208,619 p.a., comprising salary between $169,261- $182,579 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HSO).
