Director (Contracts and Commercial Management) (Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough), Queensland Health An exciting temporary opportunity is currently available for an experienced Director (Contracts and Commercial Management) to join the Executive Services Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. Your opportunity: The Director (Contracts and Commercial Management) is primarily responsible for the planning, design, drafting, negotiation, implementation, and administration of agreements with both public and private entities. The role will establish and maintain professional working relationships with stakeholders within Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS), other Health Services, the private sector, and the Systems Manager. The Director will support the Health Service Chief Executive to oversee and lead innovative and effective program management, aligning the organisation to its key objectives. This role is responsible for providing or sourcing high-level legal advice to the Board, Executive, and senior officers of the WBHHS, specifically related to legal risk management, commercial law, contract management, and corporate governance matters. Additionally, the Director will provide day-to-day oversight relating to key contractual and commercial law issues for WBHHS. Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 2nd December 2024 until 19th January 2025 with the possibility of extension.
