Director, Compliance Systems and GovernanceThe Director, Compliance Systems and Governance, leads a skilled team responsible for coordinating essential compliance and governance processes across our organisation. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Strategy and Governance (S&G), you'll play a central role in leading the delivery of organisational responsibilities, processes, and reporting, ensuring transparent and effective compliance systems.
This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to drive results and influence organisational frameworks. Your remit includes liaising closely with partners across government and internal stakeholders, setting clear standards and performance targets, and leading a team dedicated to excellence in governance and strategic alignment. Guide the team through strategic initiatives and projects, promote continuous improvement, and establish a collaborative environment where each team member is supported and empowered to excel.

About you You will be valued for your collaborative approach, strategic vision, and ability to manage complex systems and processes. You are an experienced leader in compliance and governance at a whole of organisation level, skilled in building partnerships and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You are adept at delivering frameworks for privacy, risk, and compliance, and skilled in both written and verbal communication to provide high-quality advice, presentations, and reports.
