We are seeking a Director Communication Employee & Digital to lead a large and dynamic team of digital production and employee communication specialists. You will work with stakeholders to build and deliver an integrated, whole of organisation approach to employee communication.
This is a full-time, ongoing position in our Strategy and Engagement Division. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role Reporting to the Executive Director Strategy and Engagement, this role will develop and implement impactful, industry-leading communication campaigns and digital channels to drive engagement across a mobile, dispersed workforce, and our partners, stakeholders and communities across Victoria. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Align communications capability and practice with the organisation's evolving digital roadmap, maximising the use and efficiency of Ambulance Victoria's digital platformLead the development of a new digital employee experience program of work to deliver new digital channelsEnhance Ambulance Victoria's ability to create and deliver content that connects the organisation with its people, patients and partners and supports strategic external stakeholder relationshipsCreate and execute internal strategies and campaigns, using different communication channels to engage the workforce and identify new opportunities to increase visibility, reach and engagement in support of strategic objectivesProvide strong and effective leadership by fostering a performance based, collaborative culture focussed on continuous improvement and commitment to best practiceAbout you To be considered for this position, you will have completed a postgraduate degree or industry specialised certification supplemented with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and extensive relevant experience. Other requirements include, but are not limited to:
Proven ability to translate organisational strategy into action and deliver communication plans and outputs which support strategic priorities in a complex organisationProven experience and success in building and leading high-performing teamsDemonstrated experience in developing and delivering communication strategies in complex/high-profile organisationsDeep expertise in the utilisation of digital platforms which enable the creation, distribution and measurement of high-quality contentExceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, including evidence of the capacity to engage enterprise stakeholders at all levels to deliver messaging for a diverse audience groupWorking at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
