Australians.Are you up for the challenge?About the role – The Director is responsible for leading the delivery and monitoring of the Australian Sports Commission's modern approach to Coaching & Officiating This work sits within Australia's Sport Participation Strategy – Play Well predominantly aligned to the strategic priority areas of Empowering People and Organisations and supports the areas of Driving Lifelong Involvement, Equitable Access and Transforming Culture.The role will include managing the engagement with and support provided to National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) and National Sporting Organisations for People with Disability (NSODs), empowering them to deliver development support for coaches & officials right across Australia to align with the modern approach to coaching and officiating.About you – •    Demonstrated leadership characteristics including the ability to support and empower others, ability to respectfully challenge concepts, transparency and accountability.•    Demonstrated experience leading coaching or leadership development, with the ability to apply guiding principles across different domains and co-create scalable solutions   •    Relevant experience and demonstrated success in leading broad change management initiatives in multiple stakeholder environments.•    Relevant experience in the design and delivery of coaching, officiating or leadership programs with an understanding of adult learning principles.•    Relevant experience and/or understanding of State or Federal government operating models and processes.•    Relevant experience in transitioning from the leading the implementation to servicing the applications of strategy in a multi-stakeholder environment.•    Relevant experience and demonstrated understanding of the relationship between high performance, pathways and participation in sport and ability to distil operational alignment through strategy.•    Deep understanding of the relationship between coaching and officiating delivery and participant experience.•    Alignment with the principles of the modern approach to coaching and officiating.This position is offered as an ONGOING
