WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is offering a unique opportunity for a Director of Clinical Training in one of its highly desirable regions - the Great Southern Region.
This is a fractional appointment (0.4 full time equivalent) and complements another clinician working 0.3 full time equivalent.
The role is pivotal in supporting the education, supervision, and welfare of doctors in training, including interns, resident medical officers, and registrars.
In partnership with the WACHS Director of Medical Education (DME) and local Director Medical Services (DMS), you play an essential role in designing and implementing medical training pathways that support our health service's vision.
You will also work closely with the WACHS Central MEU to integrate medical students into the hospital setting, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and educational activities whenever appropriate.
About YouWith experience in medical education coordination, you are well-versed in providing comprehensive support for junior doctors and actively contribute to planning and executing training programs.
As a bridge between regional and central education units, you ensure compliance with PMCWA accreditation requirements and support the integration of medical students into the hospital environment.

The successful candidate will have:
