We are currently seeking applications for a Director to join theSecretariat for Board of Treasurers at The Department of Treasury& Finance for a temporary contract to 31 May 2025.
Remuneration: SAES1

The Board of Treasurers (Board) comprises state and territoryTreasurers and aims to advance national reform priorities andfoster more effective engagement with the Commonwealth. While theChair of the Board rotates annually, the Board Secretariat ispermanently based in Adelaide.
The Board Secretariat supports the Chair and all jurisdictionsby ensuring Treasurers have appropriate materials and briefings toconsider key issues and progress reforms. The Secretariat'swork facilitates improved cooperation among state and territoryTreasurers and the identification of shared positions/priorities tostrengthen national advocacy.
About the opportunity: The Director, Secretariat for Board of Treasurers is accountableto the Executive Director, Budget and Performance Branch and willbe responsible for managing and coordinating the Board Secretariat,including;
identifying and coordinating policy work on shared stateand territory priorities and driving associated reforms(including federal financial relations reform)supporting collaboration among state and territoryTreasurers and joint advocacy effortsaligning states and territories' positions andresponses to issues progressed through the Council on FederalFinancial Relations (where possible), andstrategically considering policy, economic and fiscalissues of national significance and identifying and assessingrisks and impacts for states and territories.The incumbent will be required to build productive,collaborative relationships with the Chair and all state andterritory Treasuries.
About you To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in:
