Are you looking for a new challenge as part of a technology refresh program? DHA have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Solutions & Technology team as the Director of Application Development and Integration.
In this role you will provide technical leadership and direction to the Applications development and testing teams. You will be the key contributor to the Architecture strategy, execution, and the technology roadmap.
You will lead a team of experienced technical specialists, and work closely with release management to ensure work is allocated appropriately across the team considering skills and availability.
Working within DHA, our smaller agency provides opportunities for you to own and drive initiatives and see outcomes come to fruition.
If this role has sparked your interest – we would love to hear from you! The following skills are required to be successful in this role: Demonstrated experience in managing and driving the technical direction of high performing software development teams.
Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud-based platforms, databases, and web technologies with and an understanding of how to drive modern software development practices on Salesforce.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure software applications based on industry best practices and ISM compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to drive a software development strategy and roadmap with proven success at delivering complex software development initiatives to meet strategic objectives.
Experience in establishing practices within teams to follow Agile and Dev Ops methodologies using tools like Azure Dev Ops, Jira or similar.
Ability to think strategically, innovate and drive change to improve software development processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience and ability in managing, delegating, coaching and developing a team of technical specialists.
