Libraries ACT is on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Heritage professional, someone who has extensive library and archive experience and is an excellent stakeholder manager, to lead the team at the ACT Heritage Library.
ACT Heritage Library plays an invaluable role in collecting and documenting the life and history of Canberra and Canberrans to ensure it isn't lost to future generations. It can be pretty full-on, but the reward you get from stretching yourself and realising the impact you make has value.

Eligibility/Other requirements: To be eligible for this role you must have a qualification(s) in Librarianship, Information Management or Archives, recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association.Experience in heritage collection management will be highly regarded.To be eligible for permanent employment within the ACT Public Service you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
