We are looking for an experienced pharmacy assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Our pharmacies provide a comprehensive range of services including in-store vaccination clinics and other health care services such as NDDS.
We are committed to providing ongoing training and supporting team members in gaining further qualifications while building valuable customer-facing experience and product knowledge.
About the role
An exciting full-time opportunity for a Store Manager is now available working Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm within our Pharmacy on Franklin store in Manuka.
You will be the point of contact for in-store services such as NDDS support, Diabetes & Vaccination Clinics, to name a few.
This position will also include but is not limited to general pharmacy duties such as customer service, stock management, promotional setup, and working within a team.
You will need to demonstrate initiative, reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn, and have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Your day-to-day will involve working alongside an established, friendly pharmacy team to provide stand-out customer service.
What you need:
A precise attention to detail – a natural eye for merchandising is the key to success including safety, cleanliness, and feel.
Proven experience working as part of a team and contributing to a dynamic retail team.
Significant retail experience is essential, and pharmacy industry experience is ideal.
Work as part of a team to meet the company's expectations for productivity and goal accomplishment.
Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
Maintain employee work direction including base rostering, training, annual leave, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
Ensure every customer receives service that achieves the best possible health outcome.
Effectively engage all areas of business management to maximize profitability whilst maintaining legal, ethical, and moral responsibilities.
Strive to increase revenue and achieve business growth and development through strategies that focus on increasing customer spend, building loyalty, and securing repeat business, increasing traffic to the store, etc.
Be able to unpack and manage large stock deliveries.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have solid pharmacy experience, with a minimum of one year consecutively in an Australian Pharmacy.
