Job Description As the Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating driver schedules and truck maintenance on a daily basis. This is a crucial element in our commitment to promptly address customer delivery needs.
Leveraging stock data, you'll proactively assess capacity in relation to available trucks and drivers. By doing so, you'll be instrumental in orchestrating deliveries that are not only timely but also executed with the utmost efficiency. Your efforts will contribute directly to upholding our promise of on-time and comprehensive deliveries to our customers.
Your key contributions Schedule delivery times to meet site and customer needs, avoiding peak times wherever possible Work closely with the CSC team to ensure all customer needs and timelines are met. Maintain strong communication with the workshop to ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out on time. Coordinate the allocation of loads to company fleet drivers or subcontractors Maintain drivers working roster and collaborate with drivers to execute the delivery schedule. Produce all driver load plans ensuring vehicles are not overloaded, correct load codes and truck optimization are met. Ensure all delivery schedules can be performed safely within the heavy vehicle driving hours stipulated under company policy & NT WA Law. Manage company compliance for staff and vehicles. Monitor compliance - HSE, fatigue, annual medicals, test weights etc. Monitor weather & road conditions Qualifications Previous experience as a fleet controller or Scheduler Ability to use Excel under pressure and meet tight deadlines Perform with high attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong aptitude for teamwork and collaboration Compliance - HSE, monitoring fatigue, annual medicals, test weights etc. Monitor weather & road conditions Additional Information What's in it for you?
