Our client is a business that helps small businesses in the building and trades sector be more successful!
By identifying gaps in the way their customers' businesses are run, they are able to guide, educate, and support the owners to be more successful and, most importantly, more profitable.

They are currently experiencing a period of fantastic growth and are looking to welcome aboard a new team member to support both them and their customers.
This is a fantastic telephone-based position for someone that has outstanding customer service skills and the maturity to manage their own schedule as they drive their success in a 100% work from home basis.

Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Direct Sales Representative will work closely alongside the organisation's partners to deliver value and opportunity to their partners and end users.
Driving attendance and participation at partner events will be key to the success of this role.

As the first point of call, you will be responsible for interacting with potential new customers over the phone and working with them to facilitate attendance at specialty programs designed to offer advice on one of many facets of running a successful business.
You will be involved in ongoing follow-ups as you guide and assist the customers through the follow-up meetings that naturally build on their first training session.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
Minimum 5+ years in sales development, preferably with B2B experience.
(Previous experience working with trades and construction industry highly desirable.
)New business or demonstrated new business experience reaching large volumes of qualified leads.Excellent customer engagement capabilities.Demonstrated experience in managing a CRM.Ability to think on your feet and effectively resolve problems.Excellent communication skills and rapport-building skills (both written and spoken).Ability to research and understand prospects and personalize the outreach.Exemplary time management skills, autonomous, can-do attitude.Must have a driving license and be prepared to come to the office occasionally, so Melbourne-based is a prerequisite of the role.Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Please note that whilst this role is predominantly 'work from home', only candidates based in the greater city of Melbourne will be considered.
