Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Mount Pleasant District Hospital & Aged CareSalary: WHA4 $1,128.60 to $1,140.30 per week (pro rata)Permanent Part-time position working 27 hours per week, over a 7 day roster OverviewWorking under limited supervision, you will assist in the care and supervision of aged care clients of the Residential Aged Care Home in Mount Pleasant.
This will include providing assistance with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming of residents, along with toileting and continence management.
You will help with feeding residents and maintain their mobility/dexterity through transferring and lifting, including the use of mechanical aides.
You will also undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, utensils in work area (including personal possessions), and distribute clean laundry and personal attire.
Providing input into resident assessment and recording general observations, you will help to identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and groups, and complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
