Primary objective The Digital Technology Executive will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Marketing Technology Manager, utilising the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Automation Platform to execute digital programs of work and build effective working relationships with internal business units and external agencies.
Context statement The Digital Marketing and Data team at Tourism NT has a mission to maintain and provide the most advanced and useful digital marketing infrastructure to meet operational and strategic objectives for Tourism NT, whilst delivering expertise in digital and data strategy, excellence in project delivery and compliance with global data protection regulations.
Key duties and responsibilities
Project manage CDP and marketing automation projects for Tourism NT, using external suppliers when required.
Liaise with the marketing and content team on upcoming campaigns to establish digital technology requirements.
This
includes project scoping, strategy development, content testing, implementation, and project reporting.
Orchestrate, execute, and optimise multiple streams of emails, including automated, campaign and promotion.
Manage inbound and outbound integrations with the CDP, including the marketing automation platform, analytics
platform, website, consent management platform, data sharing and advertising platforms.
Analyse data to create audience segments, based off demographics, website and email behaviour and preferences.
Continually optimise and report on the performance of our email marketing activities utilising digital analytics, experience
testing and A/B testing.
Manage and nurture relationships with teams to support technology use in marketing activities.
Selection criteria Essential 1.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, including data analytics or digital development.
2.
Technical skills in marketing automation and email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor or Marketo for automating marketing workflows, email campaigns and nurturing leads.
3.
Technical skills in customer data platforms such as Optimizely or Adobe RTCDP for cross-platform and systems integration plus audience segmentation, storage, and activation.
4.
Demonstrated digital project management experience and an understanding of methodologies including Agile, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, including through external digital agencies.
5.
Skills in interpreting data and preparing insights and reports, using analytics tools, such as GA4 or Adobe Analytics, with an understanding of digital performance metrics.
6.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
7.
Strong work ethic coupled with a passion for digital marketing and technology.
Desirable 1.
Experience with Contentstack, Adobe Experience Platform, Jira, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
2.
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Multimedia, Digital Communications, or related disciplines.
3.
Demonstrated experience within the tourism industry or creative or digital agencies.
