With a strong presence at UNSW Kensington campus, the faculty has staff and students in teaching hospitals in Sydney as well as regional and rural areas of NSW including Albury / Wodonga, Wagga Wagga, Coffs Harbour, and Port Macquarie.
Why this role matters The Digital Technical Officer is responsible for delivering automation across processes used by the Medicine & Health Research Infrastructure and Operational Services (MEDRIOS) team.
This includes supporting process improvements and identifying innovative ways to enhance and automate these processes.
The role involves collaborating with the MEDRIOS team to identify and implement solutions for successful outcomes.
Other responsibilities include developing guides, documentation, reports, and educational online self-led training tools, as well as delivering training to the MEDRIOS team to support end-users.
Some key skills required: Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.Comprehensive and demonstrated experience in the Microsoft 365 Power suite of apps, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.Proven implementation and demonstrated experience of automation for simplification of processes, with a willingness to self-learn and develop in the automation landscape as required.Fundamental project management skills.Technical knowledge of machine and equipment upkeep and maintenance.Experience in training teams in digital applications and workflows.Please refer to the position description for full details.
