What you'll be doing: The Digital Tagging & Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping exceptional online experiences for Virgin Australia customers by driving advanced digital analytics and tracking solutions.
This dynamic position involves crafting and maintaining best-in-class tagging strategies, mastering coding best practices, and implementing sophisticated tracking systems across our digital platforms and direct sales channels.
By ensuring seamless integration with marketing technologies and delivering accurate digital insights, this role empowers the business to elevate its customer experience and optimise its online presence.
You'll be great in this role if you: Come with 5+ years of Digital Analytics and Tagging implementation experience working across client and/or agency sideTechnical experience in front-end development, and applying it to digital tagging, analytics tracking & experiment buildsHave experience implementing 3rd party media/marketing tags via Tag ManagersAre confident with designing & creating Data Layer requirements and specifications for implementationExperience in architecting how Marketing Technologies integrate with each other to enable optimisation & personalisationEnjoy deriving, documenting & conveying to stakeholders (non-technical/analytics) tagging & analytics tracking solutionsHave a strong understanding of the current MarTech landscape and associated tools, platforms, and practicesUnderstanding of Data Layer concepts & architecture, especially how it applies to tagging & tracking needsUnderstanding of experimentation, personalisation concepts & principles to creating engaging experiencesKnow Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, Target, Tags/Launch, AEP) - desirableCan work with optimisation platforms (eg.
