Digital Supervisor Estimator - Insurance Building

Opportunity available for a talented Insurance Supervisor Estimator to join a successful QLD based insurance builder in a digital role. ABOUT THE COMPANY This mid-sized, and steadily growing, insurance construction company is well established across Queensland in both metro and regional areas. They have excellent industry relationships and on-going projects under various insurers. Projects include everything from BAU and emergency make safes, to large scale disaster response and major loss works. There is ample on-going work and this is a permanent position. The company value skilled building professionals and offer trust in highly autonomous roles. ABOUT THE POSITION You will be supervising and estimating for residential and some commercial insurance repair projects, under a range of insurers. You'll be joining a mid-sized, friendly and sociable team in the local Sunshine Coast office. This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday - Friday. No travel required. The starting salary on offer is $90,000 - $110,000 + superannuation (dependant on experience). ABOUT YOU Supervising and Estimating experience within the insurance repair building space. Trade qualification - carpentry or joinery preferred. Report writing skills. Experience managing trades, scheduling, and project coordinating. Well presented and empathetic - ability to interact well with home owners going through a difficult period dealing with damage to their properties. Ability and interest to commit to the role long term.
