We value flexibility; this role can be performed at any of the AER offices located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney and is available on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.

What you will do as the Digital Solutions Strategist Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the AER's digital communications ecosystem, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Drive digital communications transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to optimise processes and deliver value.
Gather business requirements, define digital priorities, and align initiatives through collaboration with key stakeholders.
Act as product owner for digital projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder interests and strategic objectives.
Define the vision and goals, prioritise features, and manage the product backlog, while collaborating with ITDG and PMO to define project scope and objectives.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks and processes for managing digital assets, ensuring compliance with online standards and policies.
Strategise the analytics approach, lead the setup of dashboards, and ensure effective data reporting and utilisation by the team.
Serve as the primary contact between PMO, ITDG, and the Digital Transformation team for the Strategic Communications and Engagement branch, ensuring alignment of broader organisation projects with digital communications objectives.
Engage stakeholders at all levels, gather feedback, and address concerns or issues as they arise.
Manage vendor relationships, coordinate procurement processes, and ensure compliance with Commonwealth policies.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, championing new technologies and promoting a culture of digital literacy.
Support the Digital Content Strategist and Content and Community Manager in creating innovative content by implementing their ideas and providing suggestions on emerging trends and strategies.
Manage up to the Director – Digital Communications by providing regular updates, seeking guidance on strategic direction, and ensuring alignment with broader organisational objectives.
About you In order to succeed in the role, you will: Champion continuous improvement in digital communications platforms, leverage emerging technologies and best practice while maintaining strategic roadmaps for digital ecosystems.
Be skilled in strategising analytics approaches, setting up dashboards, and ensuring effective data reporting and utilisation.
Be a proven product owner, managing project outcomes and leading requirements gathering and execution to align with end-user needs.
Demonstrate strong capabilities in gathering business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders, including external developers and leading/managing cross-functional teams, to ensure successful project execution.
Have demonstrated knowledge in governance frameworks for managing digital assets and ensuring compliance with online standards and digital transformation initiatives.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at providing regular updates to senior leadership on project status and strategic direction.
