About the National Film and Sound Archive The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) is Australia's audiovisual archive, telling the national story by collecting, preserving, and sharing audiovisual media.

We are rebuilding our curatorial workforce and developing the NFSA's capacity to digitise our collection at scale.
About the Team The Digital Platforms team manages the NFSA's digital platforms providing innovative ways to engage with the collection.
The Opportunity The Digital Solutions Administrator is responsible for overseeing the performance and management of the NFSA's websites and associated online applications.
The role provides technical support to website business owners in-line with government standards.
The Digital Solutions Administrator pro-actively improves website services to meet user and business needs, including web development and server management.
Please note: This recruitment process is intended to fill both current and future vacancies. Job Description Under limited direction, this position is responsible for delivering the following functions:
Administering website content management systems (CMS) including GovCMS Drupal 9. Provide online application support (e.g., eCommerce, GA4, Github, JotForm, AWS) to business owners. Facilitate hosting and server management, while monitoring online platform performance and security vulnerabilities. Contribute to digital projects through active participation in meetings and collaborations. Install, upgrade, and support open source and specialised commercial software packages. Maintain up to date knowledge of online methodologies and security frameworks. Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate their capacity against the following:
Demonstrated experience managing online/web related products and services. A strong customer-focus, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience supporting requirements gathering and documentation. Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Jira. Desired Skills and Experience Mandatory: Familiarity with developing in Drupal/WordPress, AWS, or Microsoft Azure. Familiarity configuring Google Analytics 4. Desirable: Minimum 5-years experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications. Data integration and API Management experience.
