About this Opportunity Continuing, Full Time Digital Services Directorate CQUniversity Cairns Higher Education Worker Level 6 Working at CQUniversity The Digital Services Directorate is responsible for information and communications technology (ICT) and library services for CQUniversity campuses.
As Digital Services Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our campus technology infrastructure.
Your primary objective will be to coordinate the installation and maintenance of ICT and audio-visual equipment, manage complex projects, and provide exceptional customer service to our diverse university community.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant technical experience and expertise in using ICT systems and services.
You will confidently resolve technical issues, oversee equipment deployment, and support learning spaces, adhering to university guidelines, and consistently upholding a high standard of service.

Proven skills in supporting ICT systems and services, including video conferencing, audio-visual technology, office productivity software, and university sector operating systems (e.g.
Microsoft and Macintosh).
Ability to liaise, advise, influence, and negotiate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Experience working independently and collaboratively on projects, resolving complex customer problems.
Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities, both oral and written, with a focus on simplifying technical information.
