Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) Digerati Solutions is a Wollongong-based software development business, specialising in custom built websites and web applications. We're a small, agile team and are looking to introduce a new team member to assist us across our digital projects.
We currently design, develop and maintain custom WordPress websites for various small to medium businesses, primarily in the education, religious and not-for-profit sectors.
We have also built and manage Dash, which is software used to manage consent and registration within the representative school sporting pathway (and other initiatives).
What We're Looking For We are seeking a Digital Project Assistant to help coordinate and collaborate with us on our projects. The successful candidate will need to have great verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work proactively/independently and have a great eye for detail.
About You This role is perfect for someone with some digital experience who is looking to expand their skills in the industry. You will gain exposure to all aspects of digital products including design, development, marketing, administration, and project management. An interest in sports management/administration or experience in representative sport is a plus!
More About the Role The primary responsibility of this role is to help make things happen. As a Digital Project Assistant, you will work across our full range of digital initiatives and collaborate closely with our team on both small and large-scale projects. You will coordinate changes with development and management teams while also communicating directly with our clients and users to ensure a positive experience.
The position allows for immediate impact on our projects and offers pathways for growth in technical, management, or creative directions based on your interests and strengths.
Some of the Tasks You'll Do: Perform data entry and basic software configurations Manage content addition and formatting Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and handle basic email correspondence Assist with documentation and project resource collation (workshops, sitemaps, strategy summaries) Provide basic helpdesk support for system users We Are Looking for Someone Who: Is keen to work in a dynamic digital environment and gain hands-on experience Has some experience or strong interest in digital technologies Can thrive in a collaborative work environment Communicates clearly and effectively with team members and clients Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Shows potential/interest to grow into more specialised roles (management, creative, or marketing) Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Keen attention to detail Familiarity with core/standard project tools (Office365, Zoom) Experience with Content Management Systems Working Arrangements This is a permanent full or part-time position, offering flexible/hybrid days depending on your individual scenario.
