The Digital Customer team is dedicated to enhancing customer interactions through various digital channels including websites, authenticated web service portals, mobile native apps and cognitive services.
This team also provides integrated platform services such as identity, payments and AI.
The Digital Product Owner Payments is responsible for business and delivery activities related to enabling efficient customer payment capabilities within the Insurance Payments Platform.
This role encompasses contributing to the delivery of payment-aligned experiences and applications, tools, and integrated services across customer payment channels.
More specifically, you will: Performance tracking and data analysis: Monitor and analyse digital delivery performance, providing reporting and insights to support the goals and missions of the squad.Proactive collaboration: Work closely with customer-facing teams in Customer Service, Digital Adoption and other areas to understand business and customer impacts, and identify optimisation opportunities across channels.Agile methodologies: Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies including backlog management and prioritisation.Strongly invested in own development: Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and growth, both personally and professionally.Product Owner responsibilities: Ideation and DiscoverySupport UX design and requirements gatheringPrepare for and participate in ceremonies and planning sessionsOversee ongoing story and epic deliveryParticipate in release and post-release testingProvide operational supportAbout You: Relevant tertiary qualification (Desired)Minimum 2 years of experience operating within a digital/eCommerce environment, ideally from an insurance environment.Previous experience delivering digital programs of work and implementation of complex digital solutions with proven business outcomes.Track record of building collaborative relationships with a diverse stakeholder base.Experience or strong interest in payments.Key Capabilities: Customer-Centric: Passionate about digital service, payments and customer experience.Analytical: Strong logical thinking, methodical with high attention to detail.Resourceful: Strong mindset of perseverance and ability to find or craft the right solution, ask questions and explore multiple options to present the best option to achieve the desired goal.Communicative: Excellent verbal and written communication.Adaptive: Ability to comprehend technical concepts and then make complex simple in communications and task-setting activities.Self-organised with strong self-discipline.Collaborative: Ability to develop strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect.Composed: Patient and calm in interactions with peers and stakeholders.Product Management Tools: Proficient in using tools like JIRA and Confluence.Market Trends: Keeping up to date with payment industry trends and competitor products.Insurance Products: Knowledge of insurance products and features.We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
