Details of the offer

Digital Product/Growth Marketing Manager
Drawboard is a SaaS Scaleup creating a world that works without paper, with a niche in Design & Construction. We do this by creating the world's best document markup and collaboration platform - think Google Docs for PDFs, with a super slick modern interface and experience. You may know us as being globally pre-installed on Microsoft Surface devices, helping millions of people replace physical paper with a digital pen.
Drawboard is a young and progressive Software-as-a-Service team looking to strengthen our presence in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction tech market (and other document-heavy markets) in Australia, the US, and across the world. Our customers not only span the largest engineering and design companies in the world, but also those outside of AEC.
The Benefits
Great compensation, including a pathway to equity options to be part of our journey.
Flexible work - work from home or work from an office.
Premium hardware to suit the job.
A great social atmosphere with the team, both virtually and in-person.
Be part of a team and vision that is contributing to a greener, more sustainable world.
A chance to make an impact on the workflow of tens of millions of people with a new-to-the-world product.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced digital marketer who has a strong background in marketing SaaS products. We have two products with millions of users, that are predominantly downloaded through respective Microsoft and Apple app stores. Due to the volume of users, the user funnel set up, and SaaS nature of the product, we are looking for a digital marketer that is data centric, and is experienced with marketing automation.
You'll need to be comfortable in using data skills to understand our user base, and how to direct our digital presence based on audiences and segments.
The marketing stack we use, and what we expect you to be comfortable with (or with similar services) as you will probably own these services for the business and how we use them:
Webflow (website builder)
Hubspot (CRM)
SendGrid (email marketing automation)
You'll need to work closely with our product, sales and design teams to be able to carry out your role. This is a hands-on role. We won't accept people who say 'I'm past the hands-on work'.
We're looking for a T-shaped marketer, their core strength being analytical ability, with a broad spectrum of other skills.
Content marketing and community building - designing and executing our content strategy. You'll be able to build blog pages and landing pages.
Social media marketing - building our presence on social channels, primarily YouTube and Instagram.
Outbound marketing - testing and experimenting with paid marketing channels to find a channel that is scalable.
Assist our sales team with outbound email messaging, crafting and refining email copy, and refining strategy to hit sequence engagement benchmark targets.
You will have a "growth hacker's" mindset. We have a number of under-optimised growth channels with high ROI steps identified by the right person.
You
5+ years experience in digital marketing for software (preferably SaaS), showing both individual contributor success and management (training, ops and recruitment) success. If you haven't marketed tech/software before, please do not apply.
Demonstrated experience with strong reporting skills - reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly to the broader sales team and management/board.
You'll need to be comfortable getting your hands dirty understanding user bases through analytics platforms (we use Amplitude).
Demonstrated experience with content marketing and community building.
We require that you are excellent with software, both understanding how SaaS software works and using software to carry out your work - being able to work with Google Sheets, CRM, and other SaaS software with speed.
Knowledge of engineering & design industries isn't required but will be considered favourably (you will need to learn about these industries if you have no experience).
Experience working with software product management teams.
Next Steps
Check out our website, and products. You can try them free here:
To be considered, you must tell us why you like our software, and why creating a world that works without paper is important to you.
We love working with people that are a strong culture fit with our team, because, if we're a fit, we know you'll love it too. We like to have fun, create a better world, look out for each other, and make sure everyone feels respected in a diverse and inclusive environment. We'd love to hear from you if this sounds like you!
