This role will report to the Head of Digital whilst working as an embedded designer within the broader business.
Working closely with department heads, solution delivery, marketing, voice of customer and technical leads to help lead UX design best practice as we transform to a customer centric organisation.
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Build deliverables that support UX research, UI design and user testing.
Deliverables include user journey maps, user flows, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, usability reports.
Advocate for Human Centred Design methods to further a customer centric culture.
Work closely with VoC (voice of customer) team to perform user studies and conduct concept and useability testing to understand the impact of design as we test with users, and constantly innovate to improve the customer's experience.
Participate in workshops and thought leadership activities across the company to help define user experience strategies and solutions.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards alongside management of SG Fleet's digital design system.
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., useability, findability) and integrate design system elements to execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to delivery teams.
Work with delivery teams to support implementation of designs.
Essential Experience as Product designer, UX/UI Designer or similar role Proficient in Figma using and supporting design systems Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Ability to champion inclusivity, creating designs that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and demonstrating empathy for all users.
A problem-solving aptitude with the ability to handle ambiguity Effectively manage and engage key stakeholders at all levels including executive team level Comfortable conducting and summarizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
Excellent communication skills to drive customer first design principles across the business.
Qualification in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, UX / UI design or a related discipline.
Desirable Basic understanding of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus Using systems thinking to holistically analyse a problem/solution and their influence over a system.
