Digital PMO Tooling Analyst An opportunity has become available for a Digital PMO Tooling Analyst to support portfolio governance within the Digital Portfolio Office at AusNet. This role involves managing existing PMO tools and implementing new ones as needed to facilitate the delivery of a digital change portfolio across AusNet.
With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is a permanent full-time position and is based in Southbank, Victoria, and is part of the Digital and Technology team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Ensure compliance by actively engaging with project stakeholders and delivery teams, and maintaining adherence to relevant project and portfolio requirements, standards, and AusNet policies and procedures. Administer and maintain current PMO tools, including Jira, PowerBI, and SharePoint. Analyse and recommend additional Jira plug-ins, add-ons, or other tools to enhance delivery governance and reporting. Implement necessary changes to support project delivery and portfolio governance, including configuring Jira, automating processes, integrating with other tools, and building dashboards and reports. Prepare points of view and training materials and assist projects and the PMO in better understanding the use of these tools to support Agile methodologies and ensure compliance with the digital governance framework. Set up projects within existing tools, including board creation, reporting, and document management. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Proficiency in Jira administration, including project configuration, workflow customisation, and dashboard creation. Experience with Jira plugins and add-ons, such as Jira Analytics and Activity Timeline. Knowledge of integrating Jira with other tools and platforms, including ServiceNow, SAP, and PowerBI. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) is a plus. Skilled in PowerBI and SharePoint. Applied experience with portfolio governance and digital delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). Experience in stakeholder management.
