We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the roleWe are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Procurement Support Officer who will be responsible for receiving, actioning, and responding to customer enquiries relating to procurement within the Digital Marketplace. In addition, you will collaborate with key procurement and strategic sourcing stakeholders ensuring transparency in all communications and the delivery of high-quality service.
About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience in a customer contact centre or similar.Possess excellent and professional customer service manner and presentation.Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide advice on procurement processes and policies, and work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and capacity to make decisions and recommendations where diverse interests need to be considered.Capacity to be flexible and adaptable to apply skills across the work and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.Key Accountabilities Receiving and responding to all inbound customer enquiries relating to procurement and the Digital Marketplace.Leverage your customer service skills to understand the enquiry and determine the appropriate path for resolution.Support the team's continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder management. Monitor and report on procurement related enquiries.Demonstrate the highest standards of professional conduct and support for others and work collaboratively in a team environment.Assist in promoting a culture of innovation, learning, development, customer service, and continuous improvement to the team to achieve its objectives.For specific responsibilities please review the attached position description.
