About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our talented, driven and collaborative Lotteries Marketing team who is embarking on a long-term vision to maximise the commercial potential of one of Australia's longest running and most recognised charitable Lotteries.
In collaboration with our agency, this role will focus on planning, activating and measuring digital campaigns including search, social, display, video and native. You will use your deep channel knowledge of search and programmatic to ensure we have constant optimisation and experimentation to drive brand awareness, maximise efficient conversion and drive commercial performance to maximise the efficient growth of the Lottery.
Some of the exciting things you will do â
Campaign Development: Recommend, create and implement performance media campaigns including programmatic (display, video and mobile), search, social and native advertising in collaboration with our agency partners to sell the dream of winning a prize home to our key audiences Agency Management : We are about to embark on some exciting projects, and you will play a key role in working with our agencies to take advantage of increased media investment in offline channels to maximise the commercial potential of our paid digital channel performance Experimentation - Working closely with the agency and internal stakeholders to deliver conclusive experiments that tests different levers in market to understand what drives commercial performance with different audiences. You will apply a test and learn approach to agreed initiatives across paid digital channels Data Mindset : We are commercial for a cause and everything we do needs to drive brand awareness and revenue for people with disability. You will need to be comfortable briefing in required dashboards and reporting requirements to support your channels, and using sales data tools such as Power BI to analyse campaign performance to support decision making Financial Management : Every dollar counts so you will need to demonstrate that you can work in with your leader to efficiently use our marketing budget to achieve the best returns as well as ensuring all activities are executed within budget Team Culture : Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to contribute to a culture of positive engagement to achieve the best outcomes Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for supporting your leader in ensuring that assigned campaigns activity complies with internal policies and procedures including data security, legal, compliance and brand What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline including Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications. At least 5 years marketing experience with at least 3 years demonstrated experience in digital marketing. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High level relationship management and interpersonal skills with an engaging communication style. Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret data and insights to drive brand decisions. Highly proficient in excel. Proven track record of developing, implementing and activating successful digital marketing campaigns across paid digital channels, including search, programmatic and google ad campaigns. Strong understanding of how ad technology platforms work and demonstrated experience in optimising their use. Experience in understanding and developing campaign reports to support in depth reporting and analysis of campaign performance. Experience working with agencies and managing RFP's. Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, best practices and digital marketing trends.
