About the roleThis is a Parental Leave cover role for approximately 12 months. As the Digital Marketing Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital media strategies, working closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and external agencies. You'll oversee paid digital media activities, develop engaging organic social content, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the customer journey across digital and in-store touchpoints.
This role is ideal for a creative and analytical marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves a challenge, and brings innovative ideas to the table.
This role works in a hybrid manner, 2 days a week out of our Chadstone Support Office in Victoria. Key Responsibilities:
Digital Media Management:
Lead end-to-end paid digital media activities across campaigns.Develop, execute, and optimise digital strategies to achieve marketing objectives.Educate teams on digital media value and recommend effective channel strategies.Monitor digital trends and leverage them to enhance our strategy.Analyse campaign performance and report on key metrics with actionable insights.Organic Social Media:
Develop and maintain an engaging organic social media strategy and content calendar.Oversee daily management, including content creation, scheduling, performance reporting, and optimisation.Leverage insights to enhance content effectiveness and drive customer engagement.Partner with internal teams, including CRM, Analytics, eCommerce, Merchandise, PR, and Corporate Affairs, to align efforts and deliver seamless customer experiences.Work with design teams to ensure brand consistency and engaging digital content.About youWhat You'll Bring:
Education: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years in marketing, with extensive experience in digital media.Proven ability to develop and execute strategies in a retail or fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of organic social media and content creation.Skills:
Expertise in digital media channels, analytics tools, and advertising platforms.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in tools such as SA360, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and workflow tools like Monday.Creative thinker with excellent copywriting and content development skills.Our cultureIt's all in a day's work when you're part of the Officeworks community – where you're not defined by who you are, but what you can do.
