Overview: Edufynd is seeking a driven International Education Advisor who will provide personalized guidance to students and their families regarding international study opportunities.
This role involves helping students navigate the complexities of studying abroad, from selecting suitable programs and universities to handling application processes and visa requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Counseling and Guidance:Offer one-on-one consultations with students to understand their academic and career goals.Provide expert advice on suitable overseas education options and institutions.Application Assistance:Assist students in preparing and submitting applications to international universities, including guidance on writing personal statements, gathering recommendation letters, and meeting application deadlines.Information Provision:Keep up-to-date with the latest information on overseas universities, programs, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities to provide accurate and relevant advice.Documentation Support:Guide students through the documentation process, including visa applications, financial aid forms, and other necessary paperwork.Workshops and Seminars:Conduct informational workshops and webinars on various aspects of studying abroad, such as application processes, cultural adaptation, and career prospects.Collaboration:Work closely with educational institutions, scholarship organizations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about new opportunities and maintain strong partnerships.Student Follow-Up:Maintain ongoing communication with students to track their progress, address any issues that arise, and provide additional support as needed.Customer Service:Offer exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience for students and their families.Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field.
A Master's degree or additional certifications in counseling or education is a plus.Experience: Proven experience in student counseling, education consulting, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the study-abroad process.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international education systems, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities.Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
