Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) Role: Digital marketing assistant
Location: Adelaide, South Australia. Four days a week working from our city office; one day at home

WHO YOU ARE We're looking for an energetic digital marketing assistant to support our team. You might be a recent marketing or comms graduate looking to break into a career in content and marketing. Maybe you've had a couple of years' experience in marketing or working for a brand and you want to segue into content. Or maybe you have experience creating content for your own hobby or passion project, and you'd like to get some real-world experience.
As a digital marketing assistant in our growing team, you'll be helping our team of writers, social specialists, digital marketing specialists and designers plan, write, create, and publish content across a variety of mediums. On any given day you might be researching our clients' competitors, writing website copy, publishing content on social media, editing videos, helping at content shoots, uploading content to a CMS, writing editorial articles and dreaming up Reel ideas.
You must love and consume content, and be tapped into what's trending right now with consumers, what's driving conversation, what people are interacting with, and what technology they're using to stay connected. You're insatiably curious, and you love talking to people and finding out what makes them tick.
Most importantly, you love to write, have a fearless command of the English language, and know how to tell a good story. You have impeccable grammar and you feel as comfortable writing long-form articles as you do snappy social copy.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Create clear, compelling and on-brand written and visual copy and content for various mediums, including digital media, websites, EDMs, social and print Publish, manage and moderate social channels on behalf of our clients, including creating tracking links Work with our digital marketing specialist to create, implement, manage and optimise ads on social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok) Update and maintain clients' website content using various CMS platforms Contribute to creative concepts for clients Be a guardian of our clients' brand and TOV Contribute content and ideas to Slice's social media and website EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Some experience planning, writing and creating content, even if it's for your business, hobby or passion project Experience in the back end of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), Premiere Pro and After Effects Experience using Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Data Studio is a big bonus but not essential (we'll teach you this) Experience using various newsletter platforms (bonus but not essential) Experience using various CMS platforms (bonus but not essential) A fearless command of the English language and impeccable grammar Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills Excellent project management, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Loves to consume content Big picture thinking but also attention to detail Obsessed with digital marketing and content Curious about what makes people tick Self motivated Fast thinking and a positive outlook Acts with professionalism and integrity Flexibility, adaptability, and a growth mindset Committed to ongoing professional development WE OFFER A flexible working environment (including a dedicated WFH day each week) City-based location with a well-stocked kitchen A day off for your birthday Commission paid on any new business that you bring into Slice Quarterly $100 book allowance (we do a team book shopping outing) Competitive salary based on experience Generous training and development budget The chance to work on diverse projects and with thought-provoking clients INTERESTED?
