As one of the world's leading grains research organisations, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) plays an integral role in driving research outcomes and innovations that directly benefit the Australian grains industry.We are seeking a Digital Manager based in Canberra.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Senior Manager and relevant stakeholders to identify and deliver digital services, e.g.-Support the development of GRDC's overarching digital strategy including the GRDC website and GRDC project websites.Designing, procuring and managing (including upload of content to platforms) all GRDC digital projects within the approved budget.Accountability for managing all aspects of the GRDC's online environment including content publishing, website performance and supplier managementSource and coordination of internal content contributions and announcementsDeveloping and managing the GRDCs digital libraries.Preparation, proofing copy and design, editorial of all digital communications that fall within the portfolio and seek approval from the relevant internal stakeholder on all materials to be released.Assist the Senior Manager in the identification of potential digital opportunities within the Australian grain production industry via gap analysis.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members are aligned with project goals and standards.Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital experience improvements, gathering feedback, and iterating on plans based on evolving needs.Candidate Profile:Qualifications in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent.Demonstrated minimum 5 years in a similar capacity with strong understanding of digital trends, UX/UI principles, and analytics.Proven understanding of commercial principles including finance, brand management, IP management, licensing and deal development.Proven experience in the procurement of products and services.Ability to research, curate and write engaging copy for an online audience.Strong understanding of CMS platforms, basic HTML/CSS, and analytics tools, and of digital marketing across all platforms.Highly developed presentation, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence, motivate and develop others.Mandatory Requirements:Must be prepared to travel as and when required.Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks.Must have a valid Australian Driver's Licence as deemed necessary.Please include a CV and cover letter in your application.GRDC is committed to supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce and welcomes and encourages applications from People with Disability (PwD), First Nations peoples, LGBTIQA+ people, people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, mature age and young workers.
