About the Role
The Senior Clinical Information Modeller (EL1) is a full-time ongoing position that is available as soon as possible for the right candidate. This role is responsible for designing and developing clinical informatics products, services, and supporting materials to drive national health data interoperability improvements and other strategic priorities. Additionally, the Senior Clinical Information Modeller applies expert knowledge and skills to support and mentor team members, ensure quality assurance of clinical informatics products and services, and assist stakeholders within and outside the Agency.
The Senior Clinical Information Modeller undertakes highly complex work under broad direction, exercising significant professional independence and leadership. This role will be required to make sound decisions and judgments to provide high-level policy advice.
Skills and Experience Extensive experience in clinical information modelling. Proficient in hands-on development with both HL7 FHIR and HL7 CDA standards. Highly organised and innovative, with a strong understanding of digital transformation and the APS operating environment. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to understand, negotiate, and resolve complex, challenging, and sensitive issues to achieve delivery goals.
