About the Division

We're leading the way in shaping the digital landscape, establishing connectivity standards, and designing user-friendly interfaces. As custodians of this ecosystem, we manage products through comprehensive analysis, innovative architecture, and user-centric design. Travel to Sydney will be required every few months, if you are not located in Sydney.
About the Role
The Product Usability Analyst (APS6) is a full-time ongoing position. This role is responsible for providing clinical and consumer insights, guidance, and recommendations on the usability and experience design of digital health products and services, aligned with the Agency's strategy and workplan delivery. The analyst conducts usability design testing with clinicians and consumers in the Agency's state-of-the-art clinical experience centre, ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of usability and user experience.
Key Responsibilities: Enable clinical and consumer insights to inform usability and experience design. Provide guidance and recommendations on digital health products and services. Ensure alignment with the Agency's strategy and workplan delivery. Skills and Experience Proficiency in usability experience, business analysis, and test management. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills. Demonstrated understanding of key issues for clinicians and consumers in relation to user experience and human-centred design approaches in digital health. Previous experience contributing to experience design delivery frameworks, clinical governance framework, and usability best practices to ensure a safe, usable, and robust digital system. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as systems development, human factors or equivalent industry experience. Notes :
Order of Merit: Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.
Eligibility Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency. Ability to obtain and maintain national police check. Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. Application
