About the role We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Digital Experience Manager to define and deliver best in class digital experiences across multiple websites, email and search channels, as we go through business transformation with our expanding venue portfolio.
In this role, you will identify customer pain points and needs, translating them into seamless digital solutions, while establishing our newest venue as we work towards opening.
Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing, this role drives the strategy, development, and performance of Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre online presence, ensuring every customer interaction is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our broader marketing and business objectives. Together, we strive to deliver connected experiences that set new standards in user journeys, feature enhancements, and UX design.
About the team You will join a passionate and collaborative team that is deeply committed to creating exceptional digital experiences for our customers. With a customer-first mindset at the core of everything we do, the team works closely across functions to identify innovative digital solutions.
What you're here to do Manage digital experience and develop optimised journeys, connecting the experience across websites, eDM and search.Solve complex problems using process understanding and technical knowledge to recommend digital solutions that address needs or pain points.Oversee delivery of best-in-class UX and determine roadmap to deliver continuous improvement across multiple websites.Understand integration requirements, translating connections between core business systems and front-end UX in collaboration with ICT.Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and where possible, explore omni-channel strategies connecting digital experience with in-venue experience.Apply analytical mindset and determine key performance indicators to measure overall impact and drive continuous improvement for website, eDM and search channels.Manage regular digital reporting across channels, identifying optimisation needs.Set direction for SEO/SEM and eDM strategies, providing guidance for optimisation to the Digital Specialist to deliver on revenue and key results.Oversee best practice eDM segmentation and user flows, ensuring purposeful strategies are developed and executed aligning to business objectives.Oversee connected user experience for campaigns across digital channels to drive revenue.Provide guidance to Digital Specialist on digital media buying where required.Lead the planning and execution of website updates, improvements, and redesigns.Collaborate with Brand Marketing for content creation.What you will need 7+ years of experience managing e-commerce websites and digital platforms.Strong hands-on experience as a digital manager.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop direct reports.In depth experience in running web design and development projects.In depth experience in UX, web design and knowledge of traditional and headless CMS.Strong web analytics experience with exposure to Google Analytics 4.Familiarity with collaboration and project management software such as Microsoft Teams, Miro, Jira and Confluence.An understanding of CRM, email marketing and marketing automation tools including but not limited to Mailchimp or related platforms.Understanding of Google Ads, SEO and SEM.Understanding of working with ICT and business solution architecture.Proven track record of improving website performance, optimizing conversion rates, and growing online sales.What's in it for you?
