With leadership roles on city shaping infrastructure projects such as Suburban Rail Loop, North East Link & Level Crossing Removals, now is an exciting time to join our Digital team.The OpportunityThe Digital Engineering Lead reports into the Digital Engineering Manager and is responsible for influencing, implementing, and advising our clients to help them design, deliver, operate, and maintain outstanding infrastructure. In this role, you'll be actively involved in strategic roles on our most significant projects and programs and win and deliver work for you and your team.As a leader, you'll be in charge of managing major projects and priorities. This includes overseeing the project DE strategy, which involves reviewing contracts and creating response documents. Monitoring the DE budget and resources for digital initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities, including:Maintaining the execution plan & strategy to best suit the project needs.Coordinating DE activities and managing information exchanges in a common data environment. Ensuring that Quality Assurance and Quality Control checks of models align with the Digital Execution Plan.Participation in Digital related meetings and presentations is required, as well as engagement with the wider DE team for a consistent approach across projects.Supporting the Delivery team in digital activities to ensure a collaborative project outcome while growing & developing the team's capabilities.About youA seasoned senior digital specialist with proven project delivery experience or worked on significant elements of a major project delivery and embodies the principles of lean and agile working. With a minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role on large scale projects (ideally transport projects), you have strong proficiency in principles of ISO19650, certification preferred but not mandatory. You can also bring:Strong understanding of digital processes, systems, and their optimisation.Proven experience in a digital delivery role, preferably on a transport project.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an adaptable approach to training individuals.Proficiency in coordination tools & CDE's.A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Architecture.Our Culture and Employee BenefitsAt Mott MacDonald, we value diversity and individuality.
