Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Director to lead our small but growing digital team in executing day-to-day tasks and strategies for our clients, as well as assisting in developing new business.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in digital marketing platforms such as Meta, Google, and programmatic trading.
They will be responsible for overseeing all digital operations from strategy to delivering results, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
The role reports directly to the Managing Director and there is clear support from key stakeholders in the business.
Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition and Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives, and providing strategic guidance to achieve their digital marketing goals.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of digital marketers of various levels of experience, providing direction, support and training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to each client's needs, including but not limited to social media advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, and programmatic trading.Performance Optimisation: Oversee campaign optimisations focusing on key performance metrics and coach your team in making data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns for maximum ROI and effectiveness.Budget Management: Ensuring the team manage digital advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation that adheres to trading deals.Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and technologies, and implement innovative strategies to keep Sanctuary Media Group and our clients ahead of the curve.Audience Research: Conduct research and analysis to identify target audience demographics, media consumption habits, and market trends to inform media planning decisions.Reporting and Analysis: Working alongside the analytics team, oversee campaign reporting and assist in providing insights and recommendations for improvement to both clients and internal stakeholders.Key Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital marketing (preferably agency), with a proven track record of success in managing campaigns across various platforms and clients.Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviour to develop effective media strategies.Expert technical understanding and on-the-tools experience in Social Ads, Google/Microsoft Ads, Native, Digital Video and programmatic trading platforms as well as high technical ability in GTM and Google Analytics.Good understanding of CRO, SEO and basic website optimisation.Some prior experience working with Not for Profits.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and cultivate client relationships.Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and driving innovation.If you are a great team leader and thinker with a passion for digital marketing and a desire to drive a talented team forward, while delivering exceptional results for our clients, we encourage you to apply.
