The Role We are seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to join our Urban Development team, in either our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. The Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the digital engineering platforms of the Urban ANZ business and guiding the business to implement improvements in systems and processes. Reporting to the National Manager- Urban Engineering, this position is required to develop a Digital Engineering business plan for the Urban ANZ business, and to oversee the implementation of system improvements.
Key Responsibilities include: Strategic leadership of digital engineering initiatives across the SMEC Urban ANZ business.Maintain up to date knowledge of digital engineering, identify emerging trends and feed this information to the National Manager and other stakeholders.Overseeing existing Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems, with a focus on maintaining digital systems to ensure cost effective project delivery, and to minimise downtime for technical staff.In collaboration with stakeholders, implement system improvement and development initiatives.Collaborating with SMEC Urban leaders and digital champions, as well as digital leads from other functional groups within the SJ Group.Together with local IT support staff, implement processes to ensure that CAD and design setups of new and changeover laptops occur seamlessly.Together with local sector leadership, identify digital engineering training gaps and needs across the Urban ANZ business.Help establish a rolling 12-month digital training program for Urban ANZ staff.Oversee systems and processes for ensuring that digital models are accurate, consistent and compliant with SMEC design standards.About You Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or design (essential)10-15+ years industry experience, with a background in digital engineeringDesign experience in urban development and civil engineering projects (preferred)12D, AutoCAD, Vault, ArcGIS software experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Detailed knowledge of the relevant Industry StandardsAbility to program and manipulate macros within 12D and AutoCAD would be highly regardedHow to Apply To apply, click on the "Apply Now" link and follow the prompts.
