The Role This role involves leading a team of digital project management specialists and collaborating with external suppliers to deliver TasWater's digital projects.
The focus is on aligning initiatives with strategic objectives, ensuring quality outcomes within scope, time, and budget.
Digital Project Leadership: Oversee the delivery of digital projects, ensuring alignment with TasWater's strategy, and managing scope, timelines, quality, and budgets.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements, manage expectations, and drive effective collaboration.
Team and Supplier Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, manage third-party suppliers, and ensure consistent delivery of quality outcomes.
Continuous Improvement and Change: Drive process enhancements, quality standards, and change management initiatives to optimize digital delivery and align with organizational goals.

What we're looking for We are seeking an experienced team and project leader with strong technology management expertise, strategic planning skills, and a proven ability to deliver digital solutions in complex environments.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities are essential, with a background in innovative technologies and a utility sector advantage Experienced Leader: Senior-level expertise in project delivery, strategic planning, and digital technology management within complex, regulated environments.
Certified Professional: Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) with desirable tertiary qualifications in IT or related fields.
Exceptional Communicator: Advanced interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
Problem Solver: Strong analytical, prioritisation, and decision-making abilities, with experience in innovative digital technologies and utilities preferred.
