About the Role
Based at our global headquarters in Adelaide, the Digital and Data Platform Service Delivery lead will manage a diverse range of platform services, including the Santos Enterprise Data Platform, integration platforms, AI and ML platforms, custom application development, and reporting services. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in platform service management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management to drive innovation, optimise services, and ensure alignment with business needs.
Key accountabilities include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, providing critical updates on service health, project statuses, service improvements, and technology roadmaps. Support the creation and submission of new business cases.
Ensure the seamless delivery of platform services through operational excellence. Manage and optimise services to keep them secure, maintained, and aligned with strategic business goals.
Security & Risk Management: Identify and manage operational risks, ensuring compliance with internal security policies.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to track performance, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement to agreed service levels. Oversee contract renewals in line with procurement guidelines.
Implement strategies to reduce costs and maximise value from platforms, licensing, and service offerings, supporting financial discipline across the organisation.
Lead projects within the service portfolio, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
About You
Expertise in stakeholder and customer management, particularly at senior levels within large organisations.
Extensive experience as the key point of contact for business engagement, delivering high-quality updates on service health, project status, and improvement initiatives.
Strong ability to guide discussions with stakeholders on technology roadmaps, vendor performance, and cost optimisation strategies.
Experience managing vendor relationships in outsourced models, focusing on performance, compliance, and cost management.
Proactive approach to identifying security risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Demonstrated success in delivering committed outcomes and managing projects to completion.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in Information Technology or demonstrate significant training and experience within direct relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
