We're on the hunt for a talented Digital Content Writer to craft compelling narratives that captivate audiences and drive engagement across our digital platforms to join our dynamic team.
As a Digital Content Writer, you'll contribute to the Marketing & Community team's efforts to drive engagement, build brand advocacy, and support business goals.
You'll have the chance to enhance customer experiences both online and in-centre through your written content, while also supporting day-to-day marketing tasks.

About the Role: You will be responsible for crafting compelling copy within the brand tone of voice and managing the scheduling of national content across multiple digital platforms, ensuring it aligns with business goals and engages our customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Scheduling: Write and manage the scheduling of national content across digital platforms including web, eDMs, app, and social media, ensuring each piece of content is optimised for its platform and audience with calls to action that maximises engagement.Content Management: Upload and schedule content on CMS (Contentful) for articles, and on Sprinklr for social media posts, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.Prioritisation & Deadline Management: Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the content team, regional digital leads, Westfield membership, retail partnerships, and broader marketing teams to ensure content is aligned with business objectives and campaign briefs.Brand Consistency: Consistently apply the brand's tone of voice and maintain brand integrity across all content, reviewing and editing for accuracy and clarity.Optimise content for SEO: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance web content, driving higher visibility and increasing organic traffic.Content Performance Reporting: Assist with tracking content performance to evaluate its effectiveness and contribute to ongoing improvements.Administrative Support: Provide essential day-to-day support to the content team, including updating content calendars and managing content flighting schedules.This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team, create engaging content, and help drive the overall success of key business initiatives.
What sets you apart? 3+ years in content creation or digital marketing.Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Strong writing skills with a portfolio across fashion, beauty, dining, lifestyle, and promotional copy.Ability to think strategically, ensuring you understand the 'why' behind the content and tailor your writing to achieve business objectives.Proven ability to switch seamlessly between long-form storytelling and short, punchy copywriting for email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.Attention to detail with strong editing skills.Ability to apply brand guidelines and maintain consistent tone of voice.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with CMS (Contentful), analytics tools (GA4, Tableau), and social media platforms (Sprinklr) is a plus.About us Scentre Group owns 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
