As our part time Content and Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in marketing across our digital channels.
Your responsibilities will include:Write, proof-read and edit content for a variety of formats including:blog content, email copy, website copy, video scripts, social media postsCoordinating campaigns and content on the websiteCopywriting for content and editorial featuresPlanning and executing eDM and social media campaignsWorking in agile and efficient ways to design, build and maintain SEO strategies to improve our websites visibility in search.Creating and delivering link building strategies.Working with Digital Marketing Manager to deliver a consistent, on brand and high-performing user experience across our digital footprints.What You Need to SucceedPlease address all of these essential requirements in your cover letter.Excellent writing skills.Highly level proof reading ability.Experience working in a similar role.Excellent knowledge and experience in applying best practices such as link building, on-site optimisation and keyword research.An ability to work quickly, independently and accurately to meet a brief.Excellent time management skills – capable of meeting daily deadlines.Excellent communication skills and have a great attitude.Highly motivated to work on your own initiative without needing direction.The ability to work 20 hours a week and work from home remotely.Candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and knowledge will be seen at an advantage.Demonstrate a journalistic flair for sourcing, writing and creating digital content.Demonstrated copywriting skills.Proven ability to deliver SEO analysis and insights as well as reporting on performance and setting up KPIs.An ability to understand relevant niche target audiencesImplementing content on various CMSs (e.g.
WordPress) and liaising with web developers.Competitor research and customer research.Capability of contributing to ad campaign ideas with remarkable copyUnderstanding the basics of SEO and being able to apply this to web contentAbility to proactively research trends and ideas that will resonate with our customerExperience with Adobe, After Effects and other image/video editing softwareKnowledge of or experience in the vocational education industry.Remuneration: Salary and rates will be in accordance to the current industry hourly standard and in accordance with candidate's experience and CAC policies.
