The Gold Coast SUNS are on the lookout for an experienced and creative Digital Content Producer to join our Media, Communications and Digital team.
Established in 2009, the Gold Coast SUNS are a bold, innovative, and people-focused football club with a deep connection to the community on the Gold Coast.
With a committed playing group under the leadership of Touk Miller and Jarrod Witts and over 20,000 members, the SUNS are embarking upon an exciting period in their on-field journey, while off-field participation in Australian Rules football is increasing exponentially in Queensland.
The Digital Content Producer will lead the production of multimedia content for GCFC's digital communication platforms with the aim to excite, educate and grow the SUNS' audience.
The role will be required to develop, organise, film, edit and upload engaging content across all digital and social platforms.
The Digital Content Producer role will be pivotal in the club's ability to tell the SUNS' story more broadly in an engaging and effective way.
Key Responsibilities: Film and edit engaging video content for the club's multiple digital platforms, with a focus on football, community and commercialised content.
Develop new ideas and champion best practice to grow video views across website and social media, as well as digital audience.
Upload video and written content to club website as required through a dedicated CMS and VMS.
Manage the use of the club's studio as well as filming and audio equipment.
Assist commercial, consumer and community departments by producing high quality content that helps drive existing and new revenue opportunities – including TVC production, social ads, sports presentation big screen assets and digital sponsor deliverables.
We are seeking someone with 2 – 5 years' experience in video and digital content production.
The successful applicant will be a competent camera operator and video editor with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro – proficiencies in After Effects and the wider Adobe Creative Suite are highly desirable.
You will be capable of working in a team environment as well as independently in the field, where at times you will be required to problem solve on the run using your technical skills.
You must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
A critical aspect of this role is supporting the Club to effectively promote its partners, people, programs, events, and achievements to the community.
This will be done through a strong and dedicated focus on communications, across all channels and segments.
Please note that this is not a 9 – 5 role and the candidate must be flexible to work outside normal business hours including weekends.
