Job Description:Our WhyDatacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people's lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.Where will my career begin?We have an exciting role supporting our wider Group Digital Marketing Team as a Graduate Digital Content Editor!As a Digital Content Editor, you will be assisting development, creation and editing of digital content that supports the go-to-market and brand strategic objectives across all channels. This role will require cross-functional collaboration to help develop, edit and publish brand, marketing and communications content, ensuring adherence to Datacom's standards to create a consistent user experience across multiple digital platforms.Role responsibilities may include:
Supporting the management of content for the website (.com) information architecture (IA) and navigation in collaboration with lead digital content editors, UX designers and data analystsDeveloping and optimising content for SEO so that it's maximised for indexing, ranking, click-throughs and conversion, according to best practice, including best practice of redirects and removal of dated contentSupporting the team to conceptualise, write, optimise and deliver content such as; brochures, emails, landing pages, adverts, newsletters etc for multiple digital channels and platforms like websites, marketplaces, digital listings and social media.Maintaining a holistic view of content to deliver integrated content marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across channels.Working collaboratively within a cross functional team with UX/UI, creatives, communications, marketers, internal stakeholders and agencies to optimise effective digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals. You are eager to learn about best practice SEO, digital content optimisation strategies, and want to get an understanding of UX, UI, and human-centered design.You understand the value of and want to learn more about interpreting data to get insights that inform strategic decision-making. With experience in content creation and editing, you have an interest in tailoring content for diverse online audiences. Your familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools allows you to navigate stakeholder requests effectively. Collaborative by nature, you thrive in large teams, and can break down technical information with clarity and confidence.Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to engage stakeholders across various levels, and you approach assignments with the initiative to consistently deliver results.
