Job Summary: Are you a digital communications enthusiast with a knack for creating compelling content and driving engagement? Join our dynamic team at Fortescue where you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's online presence and connecting with our audience across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and develop story-driven content for multiple social media platforms that align with our brand, marketing, and communications strategies. Work closely with stakeholders and our content studio to create and refine creative briefs. Oversee and engage with interactions on social media channels using pre-approved messaging, and escalate emerging issues as necessary. Coordinate, develop, and execute a forward-looking content plan designed to drive high engagement and align with strategic goals. Stay updated on creative, business, industry, and media trends, and adjust the content plan to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Monitor trends among key hashtags, communities, and forums online to identify opportunities for interaction and engagement. Track engagement, reach, and conversion rates across our digital platforms. Create detailed reports, analyze metrics, and provide actionable insights for future marketing and communications strategies. Transform media content from print, radio, and broadcast into engaging digital-first content. Support the monitoring and execution of paid awareness and lead generation campaigns across digital channels. Ensure a consistent strategy across all platforms to enhance brand awareness and coherence. Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our digital and social media strategies. Qualifications and Experience Demonstratable experience preferred in communications, journalism, marketing, PR or similar Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline Portfolio and/or creative examples of your work available to share Good understanding of design and visual elements and able to conceptualise in design briefs. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to write engaging content for digital communications channels. Strong ability to use digital tools, including social media management software (Sprout, Brandwatch). Experience filming, editing, and delivering short video packages (using Adobe Premier Pro) highly desirable. Ability to interpret social media analytics and to conduct market and trend research with a view to turning it into concise and actionable insights. Knowledge of social media best practice and requirements for each platform An understanding of the requirements and standards for an ASX listed organisation is preferable' About Us Be part of something big.
