We are seeking a highly experienced Digital and Engagement Manager to lead our digital marketing strategy.
In this results-oriented role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing efforts, collaborating with other speciality Managers to maximise return.
You will play a critical role in growing website conversion performance, increasing member and customer lifetime value, and driving member retention through strategic lifecycle and content marketing initiatives.
You will also:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive growth, brand awareness, and measurable business outcomes.Collaborate with the Media Manager and Always On Media Specialist to manage digital advertising efforts and maximise ROI.Partner with the Content & Optimisation Manager to ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.Ensure the team leverages emerging trends, technologies, and tools to maintain a competitive edge.Oversee content creation efforts, ensuring they are data-driven and aligned with SEO best practices.Collaborate with the Website Producer and Content Specialist to continuously improve user experience and engagement across digital platforms.Drive testing and refinement initiatives to optimise conversion rates and customer satisfaction.Guide the Media Manager in planning and executing integrated media campaigns.Oversee programmatic advertising and "Always On" strategies to sustain consistent visibility and engagement.Leverage insights from campaigns to refine ongoing media strategies.Provide regular reporting on digital marketing performance, audience insights, and commercial outcomes.Collaborate with the Data Analyst to track revenue growth, ROI, and customer acquisition contributions.Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring digital efforts align with business goals and deliver measurable results.Lead and mentor the Content & Optimisation Manager, Media Manager, and Data Analyst to achieve team and individual objectives.Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.Collaborate with the Marketing & Membership Manager to deliver unified customer engagement strategies.Establish and maintain data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing channels.Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments, including sales, product, and customer service.What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related discipline5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the travel, tourism or hospitality sectorsProven track record in delivering digital campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes.Expertise in SEO, content marketing, programmatic media, and performance reporting.Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, LookerStudio), CRM systems (Braze), and CMS platforms (Contentful).Leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster collaboration.In-depth knowledge of paid media strategy, including SEM, social media advertising, and display advertising.Solid understanding of marketing automation platforms and their application in driving customer engagement.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.Experience with data governance practices and data quality management.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Flexibility for occasional intrastate or interstate travel to visit properties or attend meetings.What's in it for you?
